Are you looking to improve your well-being and achieve healthy goals? Let me share a personal story about one of my journeys to well-being. Also, it would be an excellent example of exploring the balance with food. When I went to the gym in Melbourne, I hoped to lose weight and get in shape. Despite good advice on nutrition from my coach, I quickly realised that consistent healthy eating would be my main challenge. After another complaint from my side, my coach shared a concept of positive trends with me.
The concept: By eating healthy four days a week and not pressuring yourself for another three days, you create a positive dynamic and slowly but gradually will achieve your goals. And while it may seem like a slight change in the perspective of a week, this approach of a consistent effort leads to significant positive changes in the long run and takes away the pressure of limitation.
It wasn’t easy, and I struggled for months to get to four days of healthy eating. I didn’t give up on myself. With support at home and in the gym, I took baby steps. I started with one healthy day per week and patiently worked my way to four days, changing my overall relationship with food towards healthier eating.
To conclude, remember to be patient and kind to yourself when working on your well-being. Start with small, low-effort changes that you can sustain and gradually work up. Enjoy the journey, and don’t forget to celebrate your successes along the way! Eventually, you will get to your sweet spot.

P.S. Moving from two healthy days to three healthy days per week was the most challenging part for me.
